About the Super Kids Group Club

At the Super Kids Group Club, our mission is to inspire children to read more and discover new worlds through literature. We believe that reading is an essential part of personal growth and we strive to make it accessible to everyone.

Each book is customized for each child who may be going through a very difficult time in their life.  From children fighting the various forms of cancer to children being bullied at school, from difficult divorces to climate change, we touch upon very challenging themes that are sometimes too difficult to discuss.

Each book is twenty pages and has 5 vocabulary words and 5 exploratory questions for further discussion.

At the Super Kids Groups Club, we have a team of experienced writers, illustrators, editors, doctors, and therapists who are passionate about helping children through storytelling. We work together to create high-quality content that inspires and informs our young readers.

Our primary author, Gwen Cassady, is a teacher, writer, social justice documentary filmmaker, social entrepreneur, and executive director of a small non-profit, www.ManagingLove.org.

Our primary illustrator, www.Chicho.org, is quite simply one of the most talented illustrators on the East Coast. His work is displayed on city landscapes, external children's hospital facades, and all over Charlottesville, Virginia in a multitude of capacities.
